This sake has a profile best thought of as two strikingly opposed aromas, namely a
pairing of fresh, ripe navel orange peel and ageing-derived roasted nuts.
Aromas of koji and steamed rice are also present, as well as aged mushroomy notes.
Although the palate is smooth on first impression, lively high acidity and pungent alcohol shape a structure
with a powerful backbone.
